The first time

part one

We saw you at Comics Come Home two years in a row, We told people we met you they just said so! You made us laugh until we cried. We had our picture taken with Dane Cook we said with pride! Dane who? Usually followed that! Dane Cook, he's a sexy little kat! He's gonna be huge just wait and see, Maybe he'll have his own show like Anthony! He talks of things like "it's only water", He looks like Mark McGrath, there's no one hotter! He asked me if I ever had jellies, That made us laugh so hard we had pains in our bellies! The second picture better be great or Pam is dead!! But that's only if she cut off your head! The second picture came out fine. When you come back we'll be the first in line!

An explination of the poem: That Poem was written after me and my friend met Dane after Comics Come Home 4 in 1998.  We had seen him at Comics Come Home 3 in 1997 and got to meet him a year later.  We had our picture taken with him and we were psyched.  He had just finished shooting SIMON SEZ with Dennis Rodman and his hair was still blond.  He had his hair all spiked and it looked so great, only when we got the picture back the woman who took the picture cut off the top of his head.  We were so mad but then in January of 1999 we saw Dane at the Comedy Connection and we took new pcitures which came out great!  The Anthony that is mentioned in the poem refers to Anthony Clark who had his own show Boston Common and he can now be seen on the new show Yes Dear.   At the time this poem was written back in 1998 no one had really heard of Dane Cook, but now they have and no one could be happier for him than me and my friend!  We knew way back in 1997 that Dane was going to be BIG!!!!!!
